Respected Visitor

It is my utmost pleasure to welcome you for choosing to visit the website of the Queens University which is broadly well known in the acronym of QU as well. On behalf of the administration, I express my greeting and expect that you will find all the necessary academic and related information about this university from this virtual portal.

Queens University, a non-profit initiative of Queens University Foundation , came into existence with the pioneering spirit of the great scholar Rani Aleabed, preacher and a prolific writer, who dedicated himself for the well-being of the mankind by the deliverance of knowledge during the tenth century. QU, thus, is committed to ensure a congenial atmosphere of free thinking. Queens University has a rich history in delivering quality higher education in Bangladesh as a private university. Since the beginning in 1996, Queens University envisioned to spread the light of impactful tertiary-level education in the country. Upholding the mission of “Center of Excellence”, academic and administrative policies have been put in place to ensure a student oriented environment.

Being a science and technology university, our academics are designed to produce not just graduates but to enable current students to become the comprehensive problem solvers of Industry 4.0. QU offers its undergraduate and graduate programs through profoundly successful eleven departments under five faculties of Engineering and Technology, Health Sciences, Business, Laws and Arts & Social Sciences. Qualified individuals with rigorous skills in teaching, research and industrial collaboration are hired to be the educators who help to expand the breadth of new knowledge among students through well decorated and concurrent curricular and co-curricular activities. The university management lead by academic leaders and intellectuals warrant all the structural and policy-level supports to bolster the teaching and learning experience.

To address the global needs, QU regularly upgrades its current programs and pioneered to introduce new programs. Situated in one of the fast-growing city center of Uttara in Dhaka, the capital of the country, QU offers subsidized transportation and accomodations facilities for the students. ADUST believes in fostering the needs of the graduates to excel in their professional lives and has mechanisms to assist them to achieve success in not just industrial job market but in higher education at home and in abroad as well.

These collective efforts have earned QU many accolades from various entities of which the most significant recognition was bestowed upon by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh on strong recommendation of the University Grants Commission, Bangladesh, to grant the Permanent Certification. Such is achieved by only a few of the currently established private universities of Bangladesh, among whom, QU ranks at fifth.

I believe this website will be able to bring you every relevant and important information that you are seeking. I warmly welcome your interest to learn about QU in further details and sincerely thank you once again.

May you be blessed with a good life and a sound health with prosperity.
